Why do I need paid ads as part of my marketing strategy?

You may or may not know that organic reach on social media is now less than 2% - ie. the number of people who have seen your post through unpaid distribution.

What does that mean? Well, only 2% of all your followers will organically see your posts. So if you have 3,000 followers and you pop up a post on FB or IG, only 60 people will see your post.

You can't rely on organic reach alone to attract new customers or engage existing customers. Paid ads NEED to be part of your marketing strategy.

In order to reach new customers, we can leverage Facebook & Instagram ads to make sales. Ads can also help boost organic reach too (such as clicks on page, engagement on posts, likes/follows etc).

Facebook is limiting ads for larger businesses, freeing up inventory and lowering costs for smaller businesses. This is great news for us small business owners!

If you're too busy to run your own Facebook & Instagram ads, then outsource them to me and I do everything for you. We'll have a zoom meeting each month, I'll keep in touch with you with weekly updates about how everything is going, but you can just sit back and relax, knowing that I'm taking care of everything!


When you need ads set up but you don't have the time or desire to do it, I can set them up for you - all in a day. We start with a call, work out your goals, then I'll spend the day setting everything up for you. Upon completion, I pass back the ads to you to manage. This is a one off set up (not monthly management.)

How much should I spend on my ads?

You will need to take into consideration how much you'd like to spend on running your ads. (ie. 'x' amount billed directly to your FB ad account).

Some ads, like Brand Awareness or Engagement campaigns, may run at $3-5 per day.  But the 'ask' isn't that big, so it can cost less to get results.

Sales campaigns (going out asking for sales) cost more to run because what you're asking is worth more.  Ideally, you're going to want a minimum of $15 per day per ad set.

It all depends on how quickly you want to get results. The less you spend, the longer it takes the algorithm to gather data, the more you spend, the more you can test out what works faster. 

If you're doing my DIY course, I talk through working out a budget in there. And if you're outsourcing everything to me, we'll discuss the budget on our call. We can always find a budget that suits your needs and what you want to achieve.

There are many different ways to run ads. It all depends on what your goal is and what you want to achieve. 
  • Sales campaign - let's get selling
  • Lead generation - time to get some email addresses to add to your database
  • Brand awareness - let's shout from the rooftops that you exist and show people what you offer

  • Traffic campaign - let's get people to view a specific page on your website (ie blog)
